Al Fanar Gas Group and Siemens Energy Sign MoU for Clean Energy Collaboration

Al Fanar Gas Group, a leading UAE-based energy solutions provider, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Siemens Energy to advance clean energy and decarbonization initiatives across the UAE jointly. The agreement was formalized on the sidelines of the World Utilities Congress 2025 in Abu Dhabi, aligning with the goals of the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy.
The collaboration focuses on co-developing energy solutions that integrate advanced digital technologies into energy and industrial systems. Key areas of innovation include hydrogen and Power-to-X technologies, flare gas management, and port and vessel electrification.

Digital Innovation to Drive Decarbonization
The partnership will be supported by feasibility studies to identify scalable solutions that can be smoothly integrated into the UAE’s existing energy infrastructure. Siemens Energy will contribute its global expertise in digitalization and smart energy systems to introduce technologies that optimize consumption, monitor emissions, and streamline operations, accelerating the transition toward a more sustainable energy system.
