Nature-Based Credits for Enterprises and Investors

Tate Mill, Catona Climate CEO said, "We’re delighted to be embarking on this journey with a partner like Compassionate Carbon that embodies the highest levels of integrity in the market."

She added, "What this means for our enterprise partners is access to a massive new supply of up to 50 million tonnes of high-quality nature-based credits over the lifetime of these new projects; what it means for our financing partners is new attractive investment opportunities; and what it means for people and the planet is more economic opportunity, more biodiversity, and a lot less carbon in the air.”

Eden's Compassionate Carbon has 20 years of experience in large-scale restoration across ten countries, emphasizing community involvement and sustainability.

Comprehensive Support for Nature-Based Projects

Catona Climate’s finance model supports nature-based carbon projects with early capital, advanced monitoring, and long-term offtake agreements. These contracts with enterprise buyers secure future carbon removals, reduce financial risks, and attract additional investment from other financiers.

Compassionate Carbon develops projects focused on community benefits and ecosystem services. The partnership aims to support economic growth, biodiversity restoration, and carbon sequestration in areas affected by climate change. Catona provides advanced monitoring tools through its network of MRV partners to ensure transparency and accountability.
