Envision Energy Invests $1 Billion in Spain's Green Hydrogen Industrial Park

Envision Energy, a renewable energy company announced an investment in Spain’s renewable energy sector.
The company plans to establish Europe’s first integrated green hydrogen net zero industrial park in collaboration with the Spanish government and European industry leaders.
This initiative aims to accelerate Spain's use of green hydrogen and facilitate the decarbonization of its industries.
The industrial park, scheduled to open in 2026, will contribute to design, research, manufacturing, and service activities related to electrolysis, ammonia synthesis from air separation units (ASU), and the finished module facility for scalable production of green ammonia.

Through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed during the Spanish Prime Minister's visit to China, the net zero industrial park is expected to advance Spain's green hydrogen adoption plans and contribute to a 23% reduction in the nation's greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
Pedro Sanchez, Prime Minister of Spain today said, "Today -with your new commitment to invest a billion dollars in partnership with the industry, to build an electrolyzer factory in Spain – you are not just contributing to our economy. You are helping us to build the future, to build a better future."
Spain announces $2.5 billion plan to boost renewable energy
Envision will also create a Green Hydrogen Center of Excellence as part of this initiative, which will promote innovation in the green hydrogen value chain.
This center will concentrate on improving the integration of renewable energy sources, storage solutions, and net zero digital technologies.
The $1 billion investment is expected to create 1,000 new green jobs, support the development of local talent, and promote industrial collaborations.
Additionally, the facility will operate solely on clean energy sources such as solar, wind, and biomass, creating a fully sustainable industrial ecosystem.
