Iberdrola Signs Power Purchase Agreement with AGRATI Group for Renewable Energy Supply

Iberdrola signed a PPA with the leading manufacturer of fastening systems and mechanical components, AGRATI Group. As from 2025, AGRATI will obtain 100% of its electricity from Florembeau Wind Farm in Créquy, Pas-de-Calais. This contract represents an important step toward the realization of the sustainability and carbon footprint reduction goal.

Florembeau Wind Farm Powers AGRATI’s Operations

The five-turbine Florembeau wind farm has a total capacity of 10.25 MW. The generated electricity will annually amount to 21 GWh, supplying three production sites run by AGRATI in Fourmies, Vieux Conde (Nord Pas-de-Calais), and Avressieux (Savoie).

These sites employ 570 people across 84,000 m2, focusing on manufacturing fastening systems. GRATI currently consumes 38 GWh of electricity annually across its production sites. Additionally, the output from Florembeau will supply 53% of the energy needs for these operations.

Sustainability and CO2 Emission Reduction Goals

This will save France-based AGRATI 33% of their annual CO2 in 2025 due to renewable electricity generated at the Florembeau wind farm. From that, every year, around 2,200 tons of CO2 will be eradicated through using clean energy instead.

Lorenzo Zaniboni, Europe COO of AGRATI, highlighted the importance of the agreement for the company’s sustainability efforts stating, "This agreement marks an important milestone in Agrati's sustainability journey. By powering our French production sites with renewable energy, we are not only reducing CO2 emissions by 2.200 tons annually but also aligning our operations with our long-term commitment to environmental responsibility."

He added, "At Agrati, we believe that investing in green energy and innovative solutions is essential to building a resilient and sustainable future for our industry"

This agreement represents the firm commitment of AGRATI to sustainability, as well as its continued thrust to contribute to the greener future.
