Industry Leaders Celebrate World Environment Day with Climate Action Plans

On the occasion of World Environment Day, industry leaders across multiple sectors, including hospitality, clean energy, industrial explosives, and electric mobility, reaffirmed their commitment to sustainable practices and climate action. With a range of initiatives addressing environmental impact, the focus was on practical solutions like zero water waste, nitrate-free explosives, and renewable energy technology.
Water Conservation and Recycling Initiatives
Amaan R. Kidwai, Area Manager for Luxury Hotels (North) & General Manager of ITC Maurya, emphasized ITC Hotels' continuous efforts towards water conservation. He stated, “As an endorsement of ITC Hotels’ credo of ‘Responsible Luxury’, we have commissioned numerous initiatives across our hotels. Every drop of water is vital to the future, and recycling is a responsibility we must uphold to ensure a sustainable future.” The company’s initiatives have set new standards in water efficiency and conservation within the hospitality industry.
