Expanding Access Through AWS

Orbital's AI model, named ‘Orb,’ will be made available on AWS platforms, including Amazon SageMaker JumpStart and AWS Marketplace. This marks the first AI-for-materials model to be offered on AWS. By making the model open-source, Orbital aims to accelerate research and development in industries such as semiconductors, batteries, and electronics.

Orbital Materials will also make use of AWS's infrastructure, such as Amazon SageMaker HyperPod and AWS Trainium, to optimize deep learning workflows. These tools will further support Orbital’s goal of driving sustainable innovation in material science.

Transforming Data Center Operations

This partnership between Orbital Materials and AWS marks a significant step in reducing the environmental impact of data centers. By using advanced AI-driven materials, the collaboration will help data centers operate more efficiently. It will also reduce their carbon footprint and enable large-scale carbon removal technologies.

As Orbital Materials continues to improve its technology, the collaboration with AWS will drive industry-wide transformation. This partnership paves the way for a more sustainable future.
