Three-Pronged Strategy: Strategize, Digitize, Decarbonize
The partnership takes a structured three-stage approach to address Farmson's environmental impact.
- Strategize: Schneider Electric will help Farmson create a complete emissions inventory of Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gases. This will help Farmson set science-based decarbonization targets in line with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The partnership will also involve creating a complete Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) roadmap and enhancing CDP Climate Change disclosures.
- Digitize: Farmson will be using Schneider's Resource Advisor platform, under which it will be capable of tracking real-time energy consumption, water consumption, and emissions. The move is likely to integrate ESG tracking and ease sustainability reporting.
- Decarbonize: Farmson's manufacturing plants will be subject to thorough energy and water audits. The focus will be on producing actionable plans to minimize resource usage and shift to renewable energy—driven by clear investment and ROI metrics.
