Plenitude secures long-term PPA with Ferriera Valsabbia to deliver 350 GWh of renewable energy
Plenitude announced that it has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA1) with Ferriera Valsabbia to supply energy produced 100% from renewable sources.
As per the agreement, the energy will be delivered using the entire output of a 15-megawatt wind farm owned by Plenitude and located in the municipality of Sannicandro di Bari (Apulia, Italy).

The plant is expected to produce over 350 GWh of energy throughout its operational period, which will help supply the energy requirements of Ferriera Valsabbia’s facilities starting in September 2024.
Alessandro Della Zoppa, Head of Renewables at Plenitude, said, “The agreement with Ferriera Valsabbia demonstrates our commitment to supporting also important industrial groups on their path to decarbonization.”
He added, “PPAs are not only a strategic lever for long-term energy price stabilisation, but also an essential asset for the energy transition.”

Plenitude, a subsidiary of Eni, operates in the energy sector with a unique model that combines renewable energy production, energy sales, solutions, and an extensive network of electric vehicle charging stations.
The company aims to achieve more than 8 GW of installed renewable capacity by 2027 and exceed 15 GW by 2030.
