Sungrow, one of the top PV inverter manufacturers as well as an energy storage solutions company, is becoming part of the largest rooftop solar project undertaken in the Nordic region over the huge logistics center of DSV on 175,000 square meters area.
Massive Solar Array to Generate 14 MWdc
The installation has 24,000 solar panels across 100,000 square meters, and its expected generation capacity is 14 MWdc. This energy will power the logistics center as well as one of the largest cooling warehouses in the area. Sungrow’s advanced string inverters power the project, featuring 34 SG350HX units and 20 SG250HX units for optimal performance.
Innovative Inverter Technology
The SG350HX inverter offers a maximum output of 352 kW and can support high-power modules up to a current of 20A per string. It comprises 16 Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPTs) and has an efficiency rating of 99%. Additionally, the system includes grid support capabilities and safety functions such as real-time insulation monitoring, while meeting IP66/C5 ratings for environmental protection.
Brion installed the project, while Krannich, a globally recognized supplier of renewable energy solutions, provided the necessary equipment. This collaboration is a significant milestone in sustainable energy, setting a new standard for commercial solar projects in the Nordics.
Fredrik Davidsson, Regionschef Syd at Brion, expressed pride in completing the largest rooftop solar installation in the Nordic countries. He emphasized their commitment to delivering high-quality work within a tight schedule. “We’re incredibly proud to have completed the largest rooftop solar installation in the Nordic countries Our team at Brion took charge of the entire installation, working to a tight schedule and delivering a high quality job. This is a great example of our commitment to providing smart and scalable energy solutions.”
