The second AI Clean Energy Summit (AICES), organised by The Foundation for American Science and Technology (FAST), is set to take place in Seattle on November 20 this year.
The summit will be dedicated to exploring the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the energy sector. Â
The nonprofit AI Clean Energy Summit is the first series of high-profile leadership conferences in North America focused on AI’s impact on the energy sector.

Over 30 influential leaders from the public sector and energy industry will attend the summit in Seattle. Among the featured speakers are Washington Governor Jay Inslee and Dr Geraldine Richmond, US Under Secretary of Energy for Science and Innovation. Â
Attendees will hear insights from figures in the Biden Administration, US Congress, and the Department of Energy and representatives from companies like NVIDIA, Microsoft, Amazon, BrightNight, Google, IBM, Intel, and Goldman Sachs.
Local utilities such as Seattle City Light, Puget Sound Energy, and Portland General Electric, along with experts from EPRI, will also contribute their insights to the discussions.
The summit will examine the different aspects of incorporating AI to enable the clean energy transition, including technology, policy, public-private cooperation, cybersecurity, and investment.

As AI rapidly advances and drives up power demand, it also holds significant potential to boost US energy security by making energy more affordable, efficient, and cleaner.
