Strategic Environmental & Energy Resources, Inc. (SEER), a prominent player in environmental and renewable fuel solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with DevvStream, Inc., an emerging leader in carbon credit investing and monetization. The partnership will capture biogas, prevent methane emissions, and sequester CO2 in Texas and Saudi Arabia, thereby generating carbon credits.
John Combs, SEER’s CEO, said, “DevvStream is emerging as one of the international leaders in the carbon credit industry with customers and projects worldwide and SEER has technologies and opportunities that fit well into DevvStream’s growth objectives.”
SEER and DevvStream aim to develop a comprehensive program that will harness SEER’s innovative technologies to generate valuable carbon credits. The credits will come from biogas conditioning, preventing fugitive emissions, and storing carbon dioxide at planned facilities.
SEER’s Cutting-Edge Decarbonization Technologies
Central to the partnership are SEER’s MV Technologies division and its two key technologies. One solution, the V3RU Oil Field Technology, prevents harmful fugitive emissions from small vertical oil and gas wells. The other is SEER’s biogas conditioning technology, which captures and processes methane to generate renewable energy. Energy companies, utilities, and food processors are using SEER’s technologies in over 150 installations across North America.
These solutions can quickly generate carbon credits, particularly in the renewable biogas market and methane capture from oil fields. John Combs added, “After discussions with the DevvStream team, it became clear that another possible source for decarbonization and generation of carbon credits arises from our patented V3RU oil field technology.”

Expanding Reach in Saudi Arabia
SEER has made significant progress in Saudi Arabia, partnering with Eco Tadweer on biocarbon production projects for sustainability. The partnership has yielded positive results in the early stages of the Green Riyadh initiative, a large-scale urban greening project. SEER believes its partnership with DevvStream will boost carbon credit generation in Saudi Arabia, supporting the country’s decarbonization goals.
