QatarEnergy, the energy company of Qatar, has inked a landmark agreement with Shell International Eastern Trading Company, marking its inaugural five-year crude sales deal.
The arrangement involves supplying Shell in Singapore with up to 18 million barrels annually of Qatar Land and Qatar Marine crude oils, with deliveries set to commence from January onwards.
Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Chief Executive of QatarEnergy, expressed delight over the significant milestone, highlighting the deal as the company’s first-ever five-year crude sales agreement.
Al-Kaabi underscored the deal’s significance in fortifying QatarEnergy’s relationship with Shell, signifying a strategic move in their ongoing collaboration within the energy sector.
