Aslan Energy Capital (Aslan) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide 100,000 tons per year (TPA) of green hydrogen to CalYan XGH Inc., a California-based clean energy firm. The deal is a major milestone for the development of Aslan’s Net-Zero Energy Mexico (ANEM) Project, a solar powered plant focused on the manufacture of green hydrogen and ammonia in Sonora, Mexico. The partnership is a significant milestone towards the clean energy revolution.
Aslan’s Net-Zero Energy Mexico Project
The ANEM Project, located in Caborca, Sonora, will be operational by 2028. The plant covers 35,000 hectares along the coast of Sonora, where it uses the area’s abundant solar resources to generate renewable energy. The energy will fuel electrolyzers for green hydrogen production. Furthermore, the project will be a crucial part of Mexico’s quest for a net zero future
