Carbon Clean has secured a strategic partnership with Julius Montz, a leading global engineering firm. This collaboration will help advance Carbon Clean’s CycloneCC technology, particularly its recently launched columnless C1 series. The agreement completes the supply chain for the CycloneCC system, bringing the technology closer to full commercialization.
Montz’s Role in Enhancing CO2 Capture
As part of the agreement, Montz will provide specialized packing technology for Carbon Clean’s rotating packed beds (RPBs), a crucial component of the CycloneCC system. Montz’s high-performance metal packing, combined with Carbon Clean’s proprietary APBS-CDRMax solvent, will significantly enhance the system’s CO2 capture efficiency.
This will improve the overall performance of the technology, making it more effective in capturing industrial carbon emissions.

Collaboration to Drive Innovation

Additionally, Carbon Clean will leverage the global capabilities of Koch Engineered Solutions to accelerate the commercialization and scaling of CycloneCC.

Global Manufacturing and Distribution
Montz will manufacture the RPB packing technology at its facility in Hilden, Germany. This facility will produce the essential components needed for CycloneCC.
The global network of Koch Engineered Solutions will ensure that these components are efficiently distributed to project sites around the world, supporting the swift implementation of CycloneCC projects.
Modular Design for Flexibility and Scalability
CycloneCC’s modular design makes it easy to install and integrate into various industrial applications. Prefabricated, skid-mounted units allow for flexible and scalable deployment, which is crucial for meeting the diverse needs of industries looking to adopt carbon capture technologies.
