Arevon Energy, Inc., a renewable energy developer, has initiated construction on the 251-megawatt (MWdc) Gibson Solar Project in Gibson County, Indiana.
The approximately $250 million investment will create over 250 full-time construction jobs and contribute over $83 million in local government payments during the project’s lifespan.
These funds will support community services such as schools and first responders and pay local landowners, enabling them to continue farming in the area.
Upon completion, Gibson Solar will power more than 30,000 Indiana homes annually.
