Competitive Power Ventures Group (CPV Group), a top developer, owner, and operator of large-scale renewable and low-emission power generation, announced that it is expanding its strategic partnership with Harrison Street, an investment management firm.
Under this expanded collaboration, Harrison Street has agreed to acquire a one-third stake in CPV Renewable Power, LP (CPV Renewables), a key affiliate of CPV Group.

“We have a longstanding relationship with Harrison Street and this next step shows the strong commitment from all sides to drive decarbonization efforts forward. This partnership will accelerate the buildout of our 4 GW pipeline of renewable development projects,” said Sean Finnerty, President of CPV Renewables.
He added, “By bringing together OPC, CPV Renewables, and Harrison Street, we have successfully formed one of the most formidable renewables businesses in the country. All parties worked seamlessly throughout the execution of this process, and we look forward to building on our partnership for years to come.”

With this investment, Harrison Street will bolster and expedite CPV Renewables’ expanding portfolio of renewable energy initiatives.
This portfolio includes nine projects currently operational or under construction. Collectively, they generate over 700 MW-ac of wind and solar energy, sufficient to power more than 570,000 households.
Additionally, CPV Renewables has a near-term pipeline of approximately 4 GW-ac, featuring over 15 wind, solar, and integrated battery storage projects.
