RMC Green Energy Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of RMC Switchgears Limited, announced that they received approval from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation to establish a 50-megawatt (MW) renewable energy park in Rajasthan.
This approval, granted under the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Policy 2023, is what paved the way for RMC to enter the solar park business as a renewable independent power producer (IPP).

Additionally, the company is aiming to pursue additional tenders exceeding 600-megawatt peak (MWp) and engage public and private sector entities to secure 1 gigawatt peak(GWp) in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts over the next 18 months.

This initiative also contributes to India’s climate action commitments as stated in the Paris Agreement. It complements India’s objective to achieve 450 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
