AMS Renewable Energy, a solar and storage EPC firm based out of New York, announced that it is expanding its operations by acquiring Collective Solar, a distributed solar construction company located in Oswego, New York.
This strategic move marks a significant development for AMS Renewable Energy, positioning the company to better address its growing pipeline of EPC projects throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
With this acquisition, AMS Renewable Energy will expand its in-house resources, including design, engineering, logistics, procurement, and construction services.
This will allow the company to serve better its developer and Independent Power Producer (IPP) clients. The firm is also poised to explore nationwide growth opportunities.

Collective Solar, an experienced organisation in solar construction, brings a substantial track record of over 160 megawatts of solar installation expertise.

The integration of Collective Solar’s team and project-level knowledge enhances AMS Renewable Energy’s capabilities and strengthens its market presence.
The U.S. Government’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy projects a 75% increase in domestic solar energy generation, highlighting the growing demand for solar solutions that AMS is now better equipped to meet.
With the acquisition, Vincent Colletti, the CEO and founder of Collective Solar will assume the role of Head of Construction at AMS Renewable Energy.
