Deutsche Bank appoints Trisha Taneja as global head of ESG

Deutsche Bank announced the appointment of Trisha Taneja as the global head of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) for the origination and advisory division.
Taneja joined Deutsche Bank in April 2020 to lead the sustainable finance team and has played a key role in developing the ESG advisory business within the origination and advisory team.
Prior to her tenure at Deutsche Bank, Taneja worked at Sustainalytics, a firm specializing in rating the ESG performance of listed companies.
Deutsche Bank’s origination and advisory division serves major corporate clients and financial institutions, offering guidance on capital structures and sustainability ratings.

This appointment reflects the increasing focus of global firms on reducing emissions, enhancing diversity in boardrooms, and improving ESG scores.
