Germany’s weather service predicts strong gusts in the north, west, and central areas overnight into Monday, with heavy squalls in the North Sea and near mountain peaks.
The strong winds, including hurricane-like gusts, will ease by Wednesday.
According to a Bloomberg model, the output from thousands of turbines in the nation is expected to reach a peak of 57,949 megawatts at 11 a.m. on Monday.
This surpasses the previous record of 53,022 megawatts achieved just before Christmas.
“Disruption to travel and utilities is likely,” warns the Met Office. Last month, Britain also achieved a wind-generation record, causing output from gas-fired plants to hit their lowest point in nearly four years.

Wind speeds are on the rise in the UK, prompting the Met Office to issue weather warnings for various regions, including London, on Sunday evening and Monday morning.
Storm Isha is expected to bring gusts of up to 80 miles (129 kilometers) per hour near certain coastlines.
The storm will not only bring milder temperatures to the region but also notable warmth.
On Tuesday, London is expected to reach 13°C, matching Rome’s forecast, while Paris is set to climb to 14°C, as reported by Maxar Technologies Inc.
Parts of the Mediterranean, including Madrid, will experience even higher temperatures, reaching 18°C on Wednesday.
