EVE Energy’s Malaysian subsidiary, EVE Energy Malaysia, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Invest Kedah Bhd to create ‘EVE Energy Storage Malaysia Company.’
This venture aims to address Malaysia’s increasing storage needs, aligning with the nation’s energy transition goals towards carbon neutrality by 2050.
The agreement involves acquiring land and constructing a plant, with Invest Kedah playing a pivotal role as the core investment promotion entity of the Kedah State Government.
Malaysia is positioning itself at the forefront of the energy transition in Southeast Asia, with ambitious targets outlined in its national roadmap issued in 2023
