SACE and Eni have announced a new strategic partnership to strengthen support for small and medium-sized Italian businesses (SMEs) as they work towards sustainable growth. This partnership will highlight the importance of SACE ENI Italian Sustainability goals.
In particular, the partnership aims to combine SACE’s resources with the Open-es alliance, incorporating the SACE ESG Hub into the Open-es platform. SACE ENI Italian Sustainability measures will benefit greatly from this.
This collaboration will provide companies with a more efficient way to assess and improve their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

SACE has launched the SACE ESG Hub to support the Italian SME sector’s transition to sustainable business practices. This initiative aligns with SACE ENI Italian Sustainability efforts.
This ecosystem provides tools for SMEs to adopt sustainable practices and remain competitive in ESG compliance.
By joining the Open-es platform as a Strategic ESG Partner, SACE adds a formal institutional element to the alliance’s ongoing initiatives to promote sustainability among Italian businesses. This move is pivotal for advancing SACE ENI Italian Sustainability.
Antonio Frezza, SACE’s Chief of Marketing & Communications said, “We are working to create an environment that fosters business growth through innovation, digitalisation and sustainability. The collaboration between SACE and Eni within the Open-es alliance is an important step in this direction and confirms our ongoing commitment to supporting businesses.”
He added, “Our initiatives promote the ‘twin transition’, a fair digital and sustainable transformation – supporting businesses in building a long-term, successful strategy to compete in global markets. Our focus is particularly on SMEs and the 11 strategic sectors for the Italian economy.”

The integration of the SACE ESG Hub will help companies improve their ESG performance.
This collaboration reinforces Italy’s commitment to digital and sustainable transformation in eleven key sectors.
