Excelerate Energy, Inc., a US LNG company based in Texas, has partnered with Wärtsilä Gas Solutions, a subsidiary of the Wärtsilä technology group, to acquire a reliquefication system for its floating storage regasification units (FSRUs).
Depending on customer demand or prospective LNG projects, Excelerate can install the acquired technology on any of its current vessels.
This system is designed to enhance operational efficiency and lessen the environmental effect of Excelerate’s FSRU fleet by reducing emissions and protecting LNG cargo which can be easily integrated into Excelerate’s current vessels
