BBVA Spark, a multinational financial services company, on Thursday announced its approval of a €15 million ‘Venture Debt’ facility for Cabify, in a bid to promote sustainable mobility in Spain.
Cabify plans to use this money towards implementing its strategy towards sustainable and affordable urban mobility. Notably, Cabify became Spain’s first Unicorn in 2018.
The company aims to achieve zero emission travel by 2025 in Spain and 2030 in Latin America through investing in gradual decarbonization and electrification.
