INA, the Croatian energy company, is set to invest €40 million in transforming a former petroleum refinery in Sisak into a biogas and biomethane production facility.
The ambitious initiative aims to leverage industrial waste for green energy production, aligning with Croatia’s growing focus on sustainable energy solutions.
Construction of the bio-energy facility is expected to span two to three years, marking a significant step in Croatia’s efforts to enhance its renewable energy infrastructure.
INA has been actively involved in green energy projects, including the installation of solar power plants in Sisak and Virje, contributing to the country’s commitment to a more sustainable future.
