Technip Energies, an engineering and technology company, and SBM Offshore announced the formal implementation of Ekwil, a 50/50 floating offshore wind joint venture. This marks a significant step for the collaboration between Technip Energies SBM Ekwil.
According to the announcement, Ekwil is a “pure player delivery partner offering a diversified range of ‘series production’ Floating Offshore Wind solutions to meet the growing and demanding needs of energy customers around the world.”
The technology joint venture is reported to be headquartered in France. Ekwil’s operations depend majorly on a team of 40 specialists that will focus on combining expertise and creative abilities as a united team. Technip Energies SBM Ekwil aim to leverage their combined expertise for success.
The team will receive support from the skilled personnel of SBM Offshore and Technip Energies for carrying out the project.
