TotalEnergies announced the discovery of TotalEnergies Gas Condensate North resources at the Harald East Middle Jurassic (HEMJ-1X) exploration well in the Danish North Sea.
Located in shallow waters approximately 250 km from Denmark’s west coast, the well revealed 48 meters of net gas condensate pay.
The company discovered this in a high-caliber reservoir in the Harald field’s eastern section, adding to their TotalEnergies Gas Condensate North portfolio.
Following this discovery, the HEMJ-1X well will link to the Harald platform, which is part of the greater TotalEnergies Gas Condensate North project.
The team plans to commence production by this year’s end, utilising the current Harald and Tyra facilities.
The recent discovery boosts TotalEnergies’ resource capabilities in the Harald field and increases production in the Danish North Sea.
